ELIA Membership Application Form for New Members

Dear Applicant, please type in the form below. Fields marked in bold are mandatory. If you are having problems with the electronic form please fill in the registration pdf and either email it or fax it to ELIA (details are available on the form).

Within a couple of days of receipt of your application ELIA will send you an invoice for payment. As soon as we receive the funds in our account, your membership will be activated.

Details

The membership year lasts for one calendar year, January to January, even for new members signing up part of the way through the year. An exception is that companies that become new members in the third-quarter of the year--October and later--they will be considered members for the rest of the current year and all of the following year.

ELIA has two types of membership:

Full Membership
To be eligible for Full Membership your company must be actively providing translation, localization, internationalization, or globalization products or services on a full time basis to paying clients and employs two or more persons—owner included. The price is 350 euros/year.

Associate Membership
Companies or organizations that do not actively engage in the business of providing language services, such as tools developers, training suppliers, consultancies, vendors and educational groups, may become Associate Members. The price is 500 euros/year.

New applicants
There is an additional one-time initial signing fee of 100 euros for all new applicants for ELIA membership.
