This fall ELIA will bring its unique brand of
practical programming and niche networking to
the cradle of European culture, Athens Greece.
This eleventh edition of ELIA’s
Networking Days brings together
multinational and local LSPs to share their
experience and know-how on different aspects
of everyday business, such as machine
translation and technology, to name just a
few.
Some of the other featured speakers for these
two days are:
- Lea Anthony Backhurst from Xplanation, who
will lead a full-day workshop on Sales
Strategy;
- Clio Schils from Lionbridge, who will
provide insights into the complex world of
Life Sciences and Localization;
- past ELIA President Roberto Ganzerli and
his colleague Klaus Haase from Arancho Doc,
who will talk about the troublesome, but in
the end rewarding, merger between former
companies Arancho and Ic.Doc;
- current ELIA President Renato Beninatto
from Equator Translations, who will use his
long experience as a moderator to keep under
control a hopefully animated Bull’s Eye
session on Sales Pitch.
ELIA Networking Days Athens will be held at
the Electra
Palace Hotel, a five star property in
the heart of Athens and the old town of Plaka,
within walking distance from Acropolis, all
major historical sites and the business and
commercial district..
Register by October 13, the Early Bird date,
and receive 20% off of the price for
registration. As with all of ELIA’s Networking
Days, you only have to register for the days,
workshops and tracks you are interested in.
For more information visit the event website
at www.networking-days.org.
If you are interested in sponsoring or

John Terninko
