Bull’s Eye Volunteers
The program for the Bull's Eye: The Sales Pitch session on Tuesday 12 October at ELIA’s ND Dublin is finally set. Of the six member companies that volunteered to make a presentation before the Bull's Eye panel and the audience, two companies were chosen. Christian Schwendy of Gemino and Françoise Bajon of Version Internationale. Each will be pitching their respective companies to a group of experts to convince them they should work with their company and not the competition. Then the fun will begin. The panel will comment on the presentations and then discussion will be opened up to the audience. Inga Kononenko of Promova was selected to be the alternate.
We wish to thank member companies Afford, Avalon and Lido-Lang for being willing to subject one of their employees to this "test".

ELIA Member Survey
An online survey will be made available beginning 8 September, at the same time as when the voting for the ELIA Directors opens. We seek to discover basic data such as the size, resources, number of employees, turnover and marketing information about our members. The data collected will provide a great snapshot of ELIA companies for the period of 2009-2010 and will be made available to ELIA members once tabulated. The names of participating companies will be kept completely confidential.
This collection of questions represents the collective work of ELIA members Oana Dorabantu (Casa de Traduceri) and Marek Gawrysiak (TextPartner) and ELIA Board members Laurentiu Constantin (New Compass Services) and Renato Beninatto (Milengo). Thank you all for your contributions.
The survey will be located at http://www.elia-association.org/index.php?id=survey0910.
