Veris turns 20!
Veris d.o.o. was established in April 1992 by economist and certified French-language court interpreter Boris Verbic. The company’s main business activities include translation, court certified translation, localization, simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, editing, proofreading, language courses and professional seminars for translators. It now employs 13 people and works in close co-operation with a wide network of external translators, language teachers and native speakers of foreign languages.
At Veris we specialize in translating from most official European languages mainly into Slovenian or other languages of the former Yugoslavia (Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Macedonian). We provide translations covering a diverse range of expertise, from law, technology, IT, marketing and finance to agriculture, tourism and education. For many years now, Veris has provided translations of the highest quality, as well as interpretation, editing and proofreading services for the government, the country’s ministries, European institutions and companies both inside Slovenia and well beyond. The firm foundations on which Veris has, since the beginning, built its reputation consist of professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility and confidentiality.
This year Veris is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and to mark the occasion we’re planning a three-day trip to Poland at the end of April, when we’ll visit the Auschwitz concentration camp, Poland’s second largest city Krakow, and the well-known Wieliczka salt mine. It’s going to be a good team-building weekend and we’re already looking forward to setting off.
We’re very proud to have the opportunity to share this information about our anniversary and more with all ELIA members. In fact, we joined ELIA only last year, and being part of such a well organized and fast growing association represents real enhanced added value to our day to day operations and to our company as a whole!
