Milengo Announces New Appointment

Berlin, Monday 12th September, 2011 - Milengo, a worldwide provider of translation and localization services, today announced the addition of two new members to their growing team.

Katalin Orban joins Milengo as Operations Manager and brings with her a wealth of experience gained from her own successful translation agency in Hungary. She has an MSc in Economics and a second MSc in English translation and interpreting. Merging the two kinds of knowledge, in 2003 she founded her own translation agency and successfully raised seed capital to fund her own translation company in 2004 as a winner of a business planning competition.

In 2008, she became a board member and Vice president of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA). In 2010 she started working for Day One, a Hungarian venture capital firm where she brought in her entrepreneurial background and academic business knowledge. Milengo is now happy to get her back to the localization industry by appointing her as the company’s operation manager as of September 2011.

Valarie Badame joins Milengo as Marketing Coordinator and brings with her a passion for languages and previous experience from her role with world leading online B2B marketplace TribaSpace. There she created the initial road map and strategy for its social media presence and curated their highly successful editorial Magazine. Valarie’s mixture of social media, editorial and online marketing expertise will have her supporting the expansion of the Milengo’s current online presence.
