Clarion Sign Hotel

Accommodation

ELIA has blocked off 60 rooms for the event participant for the nights of the 12th-15th of May 2010. These are guaranteed to be available through April 22. The rooms are:

• 35 Moderate rooms available for 1395 SEK/night (approx €158). Here you will find 17 well planned square metres, good work space, grand lit beds, beautiful bathrooms and windows that let the daylight shine in. All rooms feature flat screen tv, telephone and classic furniture from Scandinavian designers and face the quite inner courtyard.
• 25 Standard rooms available for 1595 SEK/night (approx €180). These rooms offer 20 or more well planned square metres with excellent working space and good storage. All rooms feature flat screen tv, telephone, comfortable and light bathrooms with hairdryer and shower. The beds are either Queen Size (160 cm) or twin beds (2x90 cm). The rooms are also facing the quiet inner courtyard

Transportation from Airport

Arlanda Express Train

The airport express train Arlanda Express departs every 15 minutes during the day and takes 20 minutes to travel between Stockholm City and Arlanda Airport. The trains depart from Tracks 1 and 2 at Stockholm Central Station, and we have two stations at Arlanda Airport: Arlanda South (Terminals 2, 3 and 4) and Arlanda North (Terminal 5).

The price will be around 240 SEK (€27) for a one-way trip or between 330 and 460 SEK (€39-52) for a round-trip.

From the trains station in Stockholm it is about a 5-10 minute walk to the Clarion Sign Hotel.

Taxi

Taxis are available directly outside all terminals at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Most taxi companies offer a fixed price − if you want to know what the journey will cost, ask about the price in advance. You can also speak with the taxi rank officer if you want a particular taxi company or if you have any questions.

One company quotes from rides to Stockholm, a car for up to 4 persons. SEK 520 (€59).
Large car, with seats for 5-7 persons. SEK 780 (€88).

Bus Services

There are airport coaches and public buses that travel between Stockholm and the Airport. The airport coaches take between 30 and 45 minutes to make the trip and cost roughly 100 SEK one-way and 200 SEK round-trip (€ 11,33 and € 22,60)

Flygbussarna Airport Coaches. On weekdays there are about 100 departures on the airport coaches (Flygbussarna) between central Stockholm and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. During peak traffic, the coaches depart at least every ten minutes. You can also ride an airport coach to Stockholm International Fairs (Stockholmsmässan), Älvsjö. The airport coaches to and from Stockholm have machines at the terminals and at bus stops where you can buy tickets. You can also pay on the bus but only with a credit card.
