Renato S. Beninatto

Renato has nearly a quarter-century of executive-level experience in
the localization industry and since 2002 has been conducting research
and leading the consulting practice of Common Sense Advisory. His
activities include teaching localization-related courses in U.S. and
European Universities, and training professionals in workshops and
seminars.
Renato has served on the executive teams for some
of the industry's most prominent companies, like Alpnet Inc. and
Berlitz GlobalNET. He is a frequent speaker and has made presentations
and keynote speeches all over the US and Europe.
Tom Connolly
Principal

Tom,
(B. Eng, MBA) has spent 27 years managing technical projects and
organisations in order to meet aggressive goals, streamline operations
and grow business. Since 2000 Tom has worked in the ICT, eLearning,
BioTechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors, and specifically in the
Localization industry. Clients are located in Ireland, Holland,
Germany, Finland and Australia. He has been appointed a mentor to
indigenous Irish companies by his local Enterprise Board. Before 2000
Tom was with Apple Computer for 20 years in engineering and senior
management roles including European New Products Introduction Manager
and European Localization Manager. Tom lives in Cork with his wife and
four children.
Marie Kotajsova
Group Manager of the Business Partner Group, Moravia Worldwide
Marie
is in charge of the vendor management team, managing Moravia's wide
network of localization services providers. The Business Partner Group
is responsible for selecting, qualifying, testing, training, evaluating
and managing Moravia s vendors and business partners. Prior to this
role, Marie was working as Business Partner Manager, managing mainly
Western European, Latin American and African vendors. She graduated
from the Faculty of Arts Brno, Czech Republic with a degree in English
and French Philology in 2004 and joined Moravia at the end of 2006.
Ashley Maroney
Business Development Manager, Language Technology Centre
Ashley
has just joined Language Technology Centre, London. She has over 8
years experience as a sales and marketing consultant in
banking/investments, media and professional services. She came from an
online accountancy solutions provider where he successfully developed a
new client welcome process, significantly contributed to the
implementation of a new client portal and led the business development
team. Driven by a passion for delivering optimum business solutions,
Ashley will be working with LTC clients to achieve maximum return on
investment and customer satisfaction.
Leah Hershberger
Manager of Linguistic Resources Coordination, TransPerfect
In
her position at TransPerfect, Leah oversees the team responsible for
recruiting, vetting, and testing new linguistic talent under the
TransPerfect Linguist Certification Program. Prior to this role, she
worked in TransPerfect’s Production Department in New York, managing
Project Managers and ensuring adherence to the company’s Quality
Management System. Hershberger joined TransPerfect in 1998 shortly
after graduating from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York with a
degree in Linguistics and French. While at Cornell, she also studied
for one year at Faculté Aix-Marseille in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Petra has background in business management and sales in large, medium-sized
and small businesses since 1991. She has been actively training and coaching
professionals in all areas of business since 2000. Her main focus is on
consulting small and medium-sized enterprises in the areas of Marketing and
Sales. Guerrilla Marketing Group is a European affiliate of the American
Guerrilla Marketing Group, an international training and consulting firm that
focuses on areas of sales growth, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Angelika Zerfaß

Angelika
Zerfaß holds a degree in translation (Chinese/Japanese) from the
University of Bonn. She worked at the Japanese Embassy in Bonn,
Germany, before joining TRADOS in 1997. She was responsible for the
training and support for Microsoft projects using TRADOS tools (1998 in
Japan, 1999 in the United States). Since 2000, she has worked freelance
as a trainer and consultant for translation tools and related
processes.
